Impressed with this company

Called this morning for a plan with golden charter as didn’t like the others much. Spoke to Adam nice guy very helpful and both my husband and I got the funeral plan we can afford and it’s things in place.

It’s wise to check out all these companies before you decide to use any of them. Happy with our choice .

After speaking to a funeral director I…

After speaking to a funeral director I called Golden Charter on his recommendation on behalf of my Mother. Lorraine guided me through the process. A very kind lady & she never rushed us through anything. My mum is very happy now that a plan is in place. My mum & I live 50 miles apart so Lorraine spoke to Mum then called me back to confirm everything. So everything sorted. Thank you Lorraine

Paul made things straightforward

The gentleman helping me through the settings up process (Paul Cleghorn) was helpful, calm and efficient in setting out what could be provided and how to spread the cost of paying for our plans. Phone call lasted 30 mins and now I have ticked that off my list, I can get on with living my life.

Spoke with Gary at Golden Chapter…

Spoke with Gary at Golden Chapter today. After being initially worried about the phone call. Everything was done quickly but efficiently. Gary’s professionalism & kind manner put me at ease. Which left me without a doubts I had made the right choice. I will be definitely recommending Golden Chapter to my friends.

I assisted a family member to get a…

I assisted a family member to get a plan. Paul was very patient and provided all the relevant information. We were given time to decide what the appropriate plan would be. This process was simple and easy to understand. I will definitely refer them.

Ignored by Golden Charter

I took out a GC funeral plan on 11 Jan & am still waiting for my plan docs on 21 Feb. Attempted to contact them by txt, email & phone but docs still not received. I have lost all confidence in them & wish I’d not chosen them for something so important. The just do not seem bothered now they have my payment.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve not received your plan documents. I can confirm they were sent on 12 January 2024 and we then requested replacement plan documents when you got in touch with us. This request was made on 16 February and it normally takes five to seven working days for this to be processed and for you to receive your documents. I will arrange for a member of our Customer Resolution Team to contact you on Tuesday 27 February to make sure your documents have arrived.

Plan ahead for your funeral

Arfan spoke clearly and steadily and was very informative. He answered all questions and took care to explain each step of the process. We each wanted a Direct Cremation to be paid for and organised in advance, but whilst we were still here! This is exactly what we now have. Very many thanks.

Lynne Cunningham

Lynne Cunningham, Golden Charter Contact Centre Sales Executive, is brilliant. Never have I been so upbeat and cheery regarding one day having to die. She took me through the process from start to finish in a thoroughly professional manner. She went the extra mile. Value added, she helped me iron out any doubts and previous ambiguities, whilst never advising me as such, but pointing out options etc from which I could choose. I am completely satisfied. Funeral sorted, mind at rest

I'd previously attended two funerals that Andrew Roughly had taken care of. All his staff looked very well presented and his control of the whole service was perfect. His reception staff have been very friendly and Andrew was very professional, but friendly. I have recommended him to friends and one has been to see him already about making arrangements for her funeral. Thank you

Understanding people

From day one of contacting them Ithey listened to all of my queries patiently. At no time did I feel pressured into signing up for the first plan offered. In fact we ground down to a third option eventually to my satisfaction. Clear advice, endless patience with dignified empathy. truly understanding people.

Highly Recommended

Everyhing was explained in such a way, that I was made to feel comfortable in making decisions in putting the plan together.Nothing was too much trouble and all my question answered. If I needed to ask again, not made to feel uncomfortable.
I highly recommend Golden Charter and it has given peace of mind.

Mum and Stepfathers pre-paid funeral plan

My experience with Lynne from Golden Charter was exceptionally professional, helpful and really friendly and easy to discuss Mum and Stepfathers funeral plan with.
She enabled me to ask questions and advised she would be there as and when we need to speak with her.
She didn't rush through the conversation and repeated anything I didn't understand.

I would certainly recommend Golden Charter.

I found it to be very easy to arrange…

I found it to be very easy to arrange my funeral with my local funeral director. Golden Charter have given me the chance to have a gift voucher by recommending someone else to arrange their funeral. As many of my friends want to do this it will be useful.

CONTACT us will a REASON !!!

Please explain to me why my mother who recently passed away paid you almost £4700 over the last 8 1/2 yrs, and yet her funeral cost were around £2400 as we had a small service, where is the difference??? Someone NEEDS to contact us ASAP.
DISGUSTING ROBBING FROM THE DEAD !!
